If you are unsure about where to place your child, please call me at 404-492-5193 I will enroll students as long as there is space, however, materials may arrive late for new students. Winter I Classes: Family Music and Cycles classes are for adult/child participation. The Music Makers and Keyboard classes are drop-off group classes where the adult (and siblings) join the last 15 minutes of class. Parent Packets (included in the materials fee): Parent Packets enrich the Musikgarten experience by allowing the family to play class music at home. Children who come to class familiar with the music feel more comfortable and have a more enjoyable time. They also know the songs and do not have to focus on learning them. They can focus on the other aspects of the class. Babies' Packets include a CD, a parent book, and a baby instrument bag with rhythm sticks, a rattle, and a scarf contained in a cloth bag. Family Music Packets include a CD, a parent book, and 2 jingle sticks. The Cycle of Seasons Packets include two CD's, a parent book, 12 cards, and a cloth bag. Music Makers at Home Packets include a song/story CD, poster, game pieces (of the animals we will study), and a parent book packaged in a sturdy folder. Music Makers Around the World Packets include a CD, a folder, notation games, song pages, and a view finder. At the Keyboard I Packets: include a Keyboard Children's Book, notation games, a listening CD, a practice CD, and a parent booklet. **All keyboard students must have a piano or keyboard at home for practice. *These material fees are paid only once per semester, i.e., if you enroll for the WinterII and the Spring sessions, you need only purchase materials one time. **These materials fees are paid once per session.
***All tuition and materials fees are due at the time of enrollment. If you need to break the payment into installments, tuition is due the 1st of each month. Call me for details.
There are no refunds, make-up sessions, or cancellations unless Julie cancels a class due to personal reasons. Classes canceled due to weather will not be made up. Julie follows City Schools of Decatur cancellations on school days. Class/sessions will not be prorated if you miss a class.
